100% DO NOT recommend this company
I regret hiring this company to do my bathroom remodel, I had nothing but issues and delays from the day I signed the contract. The main reason I chose this company vs another was the ability finance, it is NOT worth it.
4/6/23, contract signed, remodel on primary bathroom (converting a one sink vanity to a custom 2 sink vanity, new lighting, and new shower). Told 6-8 weeks to start project and 2-3 weeks for completion (flooring and toilet to remain the same). Final measurements taken 4/14, starting the clock on our provided timeline.
Mid-May: no updates, I reached out to the Project manager and was told the vanity hadn’t been started because “the company is having delays.”
- mid-June, still no update, reached out again and received the same answer, with no estimated timeline
At the beginning of August, (the anticipated project completion time) I started calling the company daily to get updates. After a week of daily calls we were able to schedule the project start date: 8/30. The project was completed on 10/31. There were no issues encountered within the house to cause delays, just poor project management.
Issues encountered:
-plumbing needed to be redone after drywall was installed due to improper measuring
-drywall of shower scheduled before insulation was installed
-accent tile purchased independently due to being out of stock from store in August after project had started
-No timeline or schedule was ever given despite multiple requests, even though I was told I would receive a schedule of when I could expect workers in my home
-Contractors locking themselves out of the home
-Double booking contractors which lead to delays
-Days or weeks where no work occurred due to poor scheduling, Workers would show up without the required tools or materials needed, and would either show up unexpected or would be scheduled to come and didn’t come with no explanation
- poor communication, mostly one-sided and very difficult
- When I signed my contract I was told that all of the workers were employees of LVKB, this was not true, many of the workers were sub-contractors.
- In the contract I signed, I agreed to a custom built cabinet. The cabinet was “custom built” as it was built by a company in Salt Lake City, however that is the only thing “custom” about the cabinet we received. The cabinet was not built based on our “custom” measurements, instead “standard” measurements were used to build this cabinet, we lost 6” of storage space at the front of each top drawer because the “standard” measurements used for the plumbing were significantly larger than the actual measurements that were taken for where our plumbing would land. The drawers for the cabinet were measured incorrectly after the sink plumbing was completed, the bottom drawer did not allow enough space for the plumbing so the drawers needed to have a notch cut into the back to fit, which decreased the amount of storage space again. (Photos attached).
The only upside to this project taking so long to complete was that I was able to address damage and poor workmanship before the bathroom was done.
When discussing the issues with the owner Paul, he refused to take responsibility for the issues or concerns and was initially unwilling to compensate over $500 reimbursement on a project that cost over $16,000 (they did reimburse approximately $750 on materials that were originally in our contract but we ended up purchasing on our own). The owner then called back a few days later and offered an additional $400 reimbursement with an agreement that I not post a negative review of his company; I declined. He blamed the scheduling issues with an employee who he reported was “recently fired”. The only individual who was remotely helpful with addressing my scheduling concerns was a woman who I was notified during my project was no longer with the company.
Please be very wary of this company, they are dishonest and unreliable. Unfortunately the reviews online continued to worsen over the months while I waited for the project to be completed.

I wanted to renovate my two bathrooms. They were both remove and replace one double vanity, one single vanity and two tubs and tile. No floors, no toilets, no new plumbing, no paint and they gave me an estimate of $45,000. I laughed in his face and walked out. They deserve to be out of business and I am sure they ripped off a few clients in the process.

I believe this company is out of business.
Haven’t been able to contact them in 2-1/2 months.
Poor communication and office staff is useless.
Installers were top notch, but left us hanging and never completed our kitchen.
Had to spend extra money and hire another company to finish.

If they would allow me to give 0 stars I would. Our job is FINALLY done but if I had it do over again I would NOT use LVKB. To start off with, our sales person Mark Albersen lied to us from the beginning- he told us that they have no contracted workers and that everyone they use is employed by LVKB. Once workers started showing up from other companies, we started asking and come to find out the only people that they employ are the Cabinet workers and they were consistently late and or didn’t show up. At one point we had cabinet workers show up to install a door on a cabinet without the cabinet door (I can’t make this up)! They left and went to pick up the cabinet door and returned an hour later, without the hardware to install the dang thing!! Not kidding! They told us 2 to 3 weeks - I knew they were just telling us that so that we would hire them. We hired them to redo our master bathroom and bedroom as well as our kitchen. I split the jobs up because I did not want my entire house torn up all at the same time. I should’ve fired them after the bathroom and not let them do the kitchen. we had a wall knocked out and a slider door installed, their installers ended up installing the door incorrectly and I had a HOLE of about 2 inches exposed to outdoor weather over the entire winter months! The quality of the door that they bought is awful and they refuse to have the manufacturer come out and check the installation because it is incorrectly installed. It won’t close without TONS of effort and functions poorly. I think they bought the cheapest door that they could find … my fault for not asking the manufacturer of the slider door. In the contract they were very vague about the number of cabinets they were ordering and tried to rip me off and I had to call them to the carpet. There really is so much over the 8 MONTHS! RUN RUN RUN… from this company!!
