I am new to this location with new dental insurance. My daughter and I had our annual exam and x-rays yesterday and cleaning today. We both love all the staff. The afternoon appointments can get a little behind so have patience.
I am super excited to complete some much needed dental work that I have put off for about 4 years. And I am super excited that we both have clean teeth again.

Dr. Timothy Luong and staff are THE best I have ever experienced. I was in so much pain and exhausted from not sleeping with my tooth ache and they got me in right away and took such great care of me. I even slept right through my root canal! Thank you so much everyone at Las Vegas Modern Smiles Dentistry!!!

Timothy Luong is a great dentist! Honest, friendly and knowledgeable. His whole team is excellent. They are not trying to upsell or overcharge you or suggest unnecessary treatments like some other companies do. I definitely recommend this dental practice if you need a dentist.

Dr. Tim sucks. They just trying to get that insurance money. It took an hour after my appointment time to even see me and he rambles forever about things that do not matter. I was at this appointment for 90 minutes and I had nothing even done. Ultimately they refused to do a basic cleaning on me because they recommended a deep cleaning that would cost me $500 after insurance and they wouldn't do anything else but that. I walked out.

I've been coming to this dentist for years. Every one in the office is so nice. The dentist Timothy I'm not pleased with I had cleaning scheduled for today 3/1/24
I took off from work go for regular cleaning and was told you need to have the scaling cleaning i said that is not what I was told when I made the appointment.
And he said you need new x-rays we haven't had any since August, they did full x-rays in Jan 2024 because I had an emergency tooth pulled. So they did the x-rays again today and he told me about cracked teeth and a bunch of issues that he seen, I said you didn't mention this in January. All he kept saying how would you like to proceed I said what are my options he said pull or crown, I said I'll probably get them crowned but not today. I said sometime this year. I said just a regular cleaning today. He refused and said the scaling cleaning or nothing and literally walked out. I'm floored by his horrible demeanor and has me almost in tears.
I took off from work for this appointment.
It's my teeth shouldn't I be able to decide what cleaning treatment I want.
Absolutely horrible. Unfortunately I'm already looking for a new dentist until he is replaced. Seems to me since I didn't want any of the procedures not covered by my insurance he declined to clean my teeth. What's that called upcharges.
I'll miss the rest of the staff
